Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Lumakaizo LLC, the owner and operator of QuotePreview ("we," "our," or "us"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit our website, join our waitlist, use our software, receive emails from us, or view a project preview or proposal shared through our service (collectively, the "Service").
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
We collect information you choose to provide, which may include:
- Waitlist information: email address and the signup source or page where you joined.
- Account and profile information: name, email address, phone number, company name, logo, business details, website links, and notification preferences.
- Project and proposal information: client names, project addresses, descriptions, uploaded photos, reference materials, line items, pricing, proposal terms, approvals, and client feedback.
- Preview inputs and outputs: prompts, project photos, reference images, generated previews, summaries, sales-pitch text, and related metadata needed to operate the generation features.
- Communications: support requests, replies to our emails, feedback, and other messages you send us.
- Billing information: subscription plan, billing status, invoices, payment processor customer identifiers, and related account records. Full payment-card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored on our servers.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use the Service, we may collect:
- Device and log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages or routes visited, access times, server logs, error logs, and security events.
- Performance data: first-party web-vitals metrics such as page path, metric name, value, rating, and navigation type. These metrics are sent to our own endpoint for operational monitoring.
- Rate-limit and abuse-prevention data: request metadata, including hashed IP-derived keys, used to protect authentication, generation, email, waitlist, and other endpoints from abuse.
- Cookies and browser storage: authentication and session cookies from Supabase, a client-portal session cookie, your saved cookie and advertising preferences, your theme preference, and a session-scoped record of the campaign link that brought you to the site. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking pixels. The Cookie Policy lists each one individually.
1.3 Information from Third Parties
We may receive information from third-party services that support the Service:
- Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and session services.
- Google Gemini for image generation, image analysis, and text generation.
- Stripe for payment processing, subscription status, invoices, and billing portal actions.
- Resend for email delivery and delivery-status information.
- Hosting, logging, security, and infrastructure providers used to run the Service.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
- Operate the waitlist, deliver the free guide, and send launch-related updates.
- Create, store, generate, and share project previews, proposals, and related materials at your direction.
- Process generation requests and return generated previews, summaries, suggestions, and sales-pitch content.
- Authenticate users, manage accounts, enforce plan limits, and provide customer support.
- Process billing, subscriptions, invoices, refunds, failed-payment notices, and account changes.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent spam, fraud, abuse, security incidents, and unauthorized access.
- Send transactional emails and, where permitted, product, launch, and marketing communications.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. Automated Processing
Some features send project photos, reference images, prompts, project descriptions, client feedback, and related inputs to service providers so they can generate or analyze content for you. Generated previews and text are probabilistic and may contain errors, artifacts, or unrealistic details. Do not upload content unless you have the rights and permissions needed to process it through the Service.
We do not use generated outputs to make eligibility, credit, employment, housing, insurance, or other legally significant decisions about individuals.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information as follows:
4.1 At Your Direction
When you use a share link, client portal, email feature, or proposal review flow, we share the project and proposal information you choose to make available to the intended recipient. Anyone with access to an active share link may be able to view the associated content.
4.2 Service Providers
We share information with vendors that process information for us, including infrastructure, hosting, database, storage, authentication, generation, payment, email delivery, logging, and security providers. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to us.
4.3 Legal, Safety, and Business Purposes
We may disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, enforce our terms, or complete a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.
5. Contractor and Client Data
Contractors control the project and client information they upload, enter, or share through the Service. If you use the Service to process information about clients, homeowners, employees, subcontractors, or other third parties, you are responsible for providing any required notices, obtaining any required consents, and ensuring you have a lawful basis to upload and share that information through the Service.
If your business needs a data processing agreement or similar privacy addendum, contact us before using the Service for regulated or sensitive personal information.
6. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and browser storage for authentication, security, preferences, and essential Service functionality. We do not use advertising cookies, social-media pixels, analytics products, session-recording tools, or third-party cross-site behavioral tracking.
Our Cookie Policy lists every cookie and storage key we set, what each is for, how long it lasts, and which third-party services your browser contacts, along with how to change your preferences. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the Service from working.
7. Marketing Communications
If you join the waitlist or request updates, we may email you the free guide, launch announcements, onboarding information, and occasional product updates. You can opt out by following the instructions in our emails or contacting us at privacy@quotepreview.com. We may still send transactional or service-related messages, such as account, billing, security, or proposal notifications.
8. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service, operate the waitlist, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and keep appropriate business records. In practice that means:
- Waitlist entries: retained until 24 months after launch-related follow-up is complete, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever is sooner.
- Unsubscribed waitlist entries: if you unsubscribe, we stop sending you email but keep your address on a suppression list. This is deliberate and it is the only way to guarantee we do not email you again by mistake — deleting the record entirely would allow a future import to re-add you. You can still ask us to erase it completely, and we will.
- Account, project, and proposal data: retained while the account is active and for 90 days after deletion, to allow recovery from an accidental or disputed deletion, after which it is purged.
- Performance and server logs: retained for up to 30 days by our hosting provider, then rotated out automatically.
- Billing and invoice records: retained for 7 years, as tax and accounting rules require.
Some information may persist in encrypted backups after the periods above until those backups expire on their normal rotation schedule.
8a. Notice of Financial Incentive
We offer a free downloadable guide, the Contractor Visual Sales Cheat Sheet, in exchange for joining our waitlist with your email address. Because you receive something of value in return for providing personal information, some privacy laws treat this as a financial incentive program, and require us to describe it.
- What the program is: you provide an email address; we send the guide, plus notifications about early access and launch.
- What it costs you: nothing. No purchase is necessary and we do not ask for payment details to receive the guide.
- How to join: submit your email address through any waitlist form on our site.
- How to withdraw: use the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or email privacy@quotepreview.com. Withdrawing does not take back a guide already delivered to you.
Good-faith estimate of value. We estimate the value of an email address in this program at roughly $3 to $8. That figure is derived from what it costs us to reach one contractor through advertising and content, divided across the signups it produces — not from selling data, which we do not do. We consider the incentive reasonably related to that value because the guide is the same material we would otherwise spend that budget distributing.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including HTTPS/TLS in transit, access controls, role-based database protections, server-side secret handling, rate limiting, and secure third-party infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International Transfers
We and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. If privacy law requires a transfer mechanism for your jurisdiction, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as contractual commitments or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
11. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict certain personal information; object to certain processing; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; opt out of marketing; and appeal a decision about a privacy request.
California and other U.S. state residents may also have rights to know the categories of personal information we collect, the sources and purposes of collection, the categories of recipients, and whether we sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
You may also have the right to limit our use and disclosure of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by these laws — we do not collect government identifiers, financial account credentials, precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, union membership, genetic or biometric data, health information, or information about sex life or sexual orientation. Full payment-card details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.
You can record an advertising opt-out in advance, and read how we handle the Global Privacy Control browser signal, on our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page. We detect and honor Global Privacy Control automatically as a valid opt-out signal; you do not need to contact us separately.
11.1 How to Submit a Request
You can submit a privacy request in either of these ways:
- Email privacy@quotepreview.com.
- Write to us at the postal address in the Contact section below.
11.2 Verification
Before we act on a request to access, correct, or delete personal information, we need to be reasonably confident you are who you say you are — otherwise we would be handing your data to, or deleting it on behalf of, someone else. For most requests we verify by confirming you control the email address associated with the information. For requests involving account or project data we may ask you to sign in, or ask for additional details that match what we already hold. We will not ask you for more information than we need for this purpose, and we will not use it for anything else.
11.3 Response Times
We acknowledge privacy requests within 10 business days and respond substantively within 45 calendar days. Where the law allows and a request is complex, we may extend that by a further 45 days, and we will tell you before we do, along with the reason.
11.4 Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request for you. We may ask the agent for written proof of your permission, and we may ask you to verify your own identity with us directly or to confirm that you authorized the request.
11.5 Appeals
If we decline a privacy request, we will tell you why. You may appeal that decision by replying to our response or emailing privacy@quotepreview.comwith the word "Appeal" in the subject line. A different person from the one who handled the original request will review it, and we will give you a written decision with our reasoning within 45 days. If we deny the appeal, you may contact the Attorney General or privacy regulator in your state to raise a concern.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right. We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or provide a different quality of service because you made a request.
12. Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us at privacy@quotepreview.com and we will take appropriate steps.
Separately, the Service is a business tool intended for use by adults. Our Terms of Service require account holders to be at least 18 years old. This is an eligibility condition of the contract, not a statement about how we treat information from minors, which is covered above.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update this page and may provide additional notice where required by law.
